For the 2016 NAJA Native Media Awards I was honored with 3rd place in the student category for Print/Online Best Editorial with my article Why I Decided to Stay at Haskell featured on the Indian Leader’s website and in their newspaper.
2017 AIHEC Conference Film Festival | Best Documentary
During my last semester at Haskell, I worked in a group for our final project in our Television News Production class we had to create a promotional video for Haskell. Our teacher entered our video into the 2017 AIHEC Conference Film Festival and it won Best Documentary. You can view our video on the right.
